What you will do Mechanic at an industrial manufacturing facility responsible for day to day maintenance activities including, but not limited to the following Perform preventive maintenance on plant production equipment such as roller conveyors, palletizers, and air compressors. Troubleshooting and repairing positive displacement pumps, AC and DC electrical motors and motor controllers. Troubleshooting and repairing manual and motor-operated valves in indoor/outdoor production areas. Perform daily rounds on natural gas boiler equipment and feedwater chemistry. Operating a seated propane forklift for various tasks. Perform seasonal grounds maintenance (i.e. snow/ice removal). Reading technical manuals and equipment specification diagrams. Assisting other maintenance personnel as needed. Complete other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor. Work in accordance with relevant corporate safety standards including Work Permitting Human Machine Interface Energy Isolation (LOTO) Working at Heights (WAH) Opening Process Equipment (OPE) Electrical Safe Work Practices About you Skills and Qualifications Must have equivalent field experience in an industrial manufacturing facility that would enable the candidate to perform unassisted equipment repairs. Must have general mechanical skill and knowledge of plant operations, plant maintenance, and equipment isolation. Must be able to read and have a general understanding of wiring diagrams/drawings. Must meet the physical qualifications of the job requirements, to include working outdoors in varying weather, climbing, lifting items up to 50lbs., and working at heights up to 150 feet. Preferred Qualifications/ Experience Demonstrate skill, knowledge, and industrial experience in lubricant blending or pipeline operations.
