Overview

TDS is currently seeking a Mail Room Clerk. Operating within the mailroom, the Mail Room Clerk provides general duties to the mailroom and handles all physical letters and packages entering the area.

Below are a few key highlights of the position:

Key Responsibilities:

Closing and destroying files
Ordering off-site files for destruction
Mail sorting
Readdressing and forwarding misdirected mail
Deliver and obtain signatures for Expiry Docket
Backup to Mailroom Supervisor and Deliveries Clerk
Multiple trips throughout the office with a mail cart for pick-up and delivery of items

Work effectively in a professional, fast-paced environment
Experience in an office or business environment
Superior organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Mature attitude, professional and strong work ethic
Dependability and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and co-ordinate multiple projects with multiple individuals
Has a mindset for helping others, a client service mentality, and a positive attitude
Ability to work under pressure, stress, and light deadlines at times
