Do you have a strong interest in the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and energy planning issues? If so, the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Branch in the Energy Division is looking for you!

Under the general direction of the Program and Project Supervisor, incumbent will provide contract management oversight for consultant-prepared CEQA documents for electric transmission projects. The analyst will also provide support with other procedural filings and documents, including processing of advice letters, author resolutions and disposition letters, and provide support in preparing CEQA findings for Proposed Decisions on rail projects, as needed. The analyst will also provide support with records retention and data analysis and presentation (in Excel, Word, Power Point, and SharePoint). The analyst may assist in guiding consultants to provide oversight of construction projects to ensure compliance with CEQA mitigation measures.

This is a hybrid position that will require the selected candidate to report to their assigned headquarter office a minimum of two (2) days a week. Hybrid positions may be eligible for telework under California Government Code Section 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California.
