POSITION OVERVIEW Reporting to the Ontario Laboratory Supervisor, the Lab Technician assists the Research and Development Engineer and team by working on quality control as well as research and development projects. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for quality control testing of plant production at the designated plant including: verifying samples, testing products and reporting the results Ensure all non-conforming results are reported to the RD Engineer or the lab supervisor Responsible for performing laboratory tests for research and development projects for RD and communicating the test results Order supplies for the lab and maintain lab equipment Perform tests for Operations with a goal of improving plant efficiency and reworking non-conforming product Support the Sales team by reporting test results to the Technical Sales Representatives and Managers Report technical results from job site data collected by the sales team Other duties as assigned Read more
