Our Pharmacy Delivery Technician assists the Pharmacy Warehouse in the delivery, set up, and pick up of medical supplies, equipment, and medication to home care clients within a prescribed and assigned geographical area.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Complies with all applicable company policies and procedures.
Develops and maintains working knowledge of current pharmacy products and services and all applicable governmental regulations.
Ensure that Pharmacy Warehouse is in optimal condition at all times, according to State, Federal, and Accreditation Standards. Stocks, handle packing supplies as instructed, if required.
Delivers medication and supplies for administrations to patient’s home and SNF and sets up required equipment in the customer’s residence.
Performs all aspects of client care in an environment that optimizes client safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
Keeps vehicles in immaculate condition
Complies with all in-vehicle policies regarding clean/dirty area, eye watch, biohazard and regular sharps container pickup and delivery, spill procedures, etc.
Performs warehouse receiving/distribution activities, if applicable
Maintains medication temperature log and returns to pharmacy warehouse manager on a daily basis.
Maintains and routinely clean and disinfect delivery coolers as indicated on the company policies and procedure.
Delivers and pick up pump equipments such as infusion and enteral pumps.
Monitors personnel and vehicle records and maintains in accordance with DOT guidelines.
Establishes preventive maintenance programs for all equipment lines, which comply with manufacturers’ guidelines and company policy.
Participates in company’s trainings, department meetings and performance activities.

Wears identification while on duty, uses computerized punch time system correctly.
Attends annual review and department in services, as scheduled.
Attends staff meetings, reads and returns all monthly staff meeting minutes.
Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner.
Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices.
Communicates the mission, ethics and goals of the facility, as well as the focus statement of the organization
Regulatory Requirements

General knowledge in equipment and supply procurement.
Appropriate driver’s licenses and DOT drug screening required for the position.
Must possess good driving record
Language Other Skills, Physical Demands

Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Additional languages preferred.

Basic computer knowledge.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$39,000 - $49,400 per year
