How You’ll Help Us Connect the World:
As a HR Director, you will be responsible for shaping and guiding the organization through an exciting period of change as part of the Human Resources team. You will work closely with the Radio Frequency and Power leadership team to provide strategic and, at times, tactical Human Resources support through innovative and practical solutions that support the overall mission and goals of the business globally. This role will be hybrid based in Richardson, Texas.
You Will Make an Impact By:
• Providing HR functional expertise, advice and counsel to regional leaders
• Providing guidance and coaching to the site HR Team, supervisors and managers in the areas of policy interpretation and application and assistance with various employee relations issues.
• Coordinating with the Compensation and Benefits Department to ensure effective salary, wage, and benefit programs are provided.
• Providing guidance and coaching to the Site HR Team to help maintain favorable employee relations climates through counseling and advising employees, developing and administering various employee relations activities, and promoting communications between employees and management.
• Conducting research into personnel programs and activities and recommend changes or innovations where desirable.
• Representing regional interests in recommending changes to HR policies, programs, practices, and benefits.
• Evaluating and monitoring the selection, promotion, placement, training, and termination of hourly, salaried non-exempt, and salaried exempt personnel (in coordination with the corporate Staffing Department) in order to ensure a well-qualified and effective workforce.
• Supporting company-wide HR initiatives and provide assistance to other business units as necessary.
• Multi-tasking over several different client bases, delivering organizational leadership in support of the HR business model, and influencing the EVP and other leaders, over those different client groups.
• Managing and leading projects and/or teams as required to integrate and coordinate HR activities within a business function, or multiple business groups.
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related curriculum and 8 years of related experience is required.
• Related experience consists of experience as an HR manager, consultant business partner, or similar role involving HR consultation and guidance with senior leaders. Previous experience as an HR Strategic Business Partner with global responsibilities highly preferred.
• Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws. Must have excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communications skills, with a working knowledge of relevant software.
