Leadership Advisor: Serves as a key advisor to the Leadership Executive Team taking the lead in reputation management and serving as a company spokesperson as needed ensuring overall consistency of strategic direction, positioning and messaging.
Company External Communications: Oversees, prepares and delivers key communication initiatives and announcements such as earnings press releases working collaboratively with investor relations support, supporting government relations initiatives, community investments, leadership messaging as well as organizational communications press releases,
Prepares Executive speeches and provides thought leadership on business communications aligned with Marketing and Brand messaging.
Responds to media enquiries and government relations enquiries on behalf of the corporation aligned with our values and working collaboratively with external brand marketing where appropriate.
Company Internal Communications: Develops and coordinates messaging through input of internal stakeholders that supports/enables a consistent and unified enterprise messaging aligned with our Brand, EVP, Vision, Mission Values.
Coordinates, produces, distributes and moderates company-wide communication such as strategic initiatives and business plan updates, internal events, recognition opportunities and organization wide announcements through multiple channels that build engagement and enhance employee experience.
Crisis Issue Management: Develops, manages and leads company responses to sensitive and contentious issues that impact HPS reputation globally. Develops a proactive crisis communication playbook with communication protocol, stakeholder identification and escalation, holding statements etc. Ensures all identified stakeholders responsible for media messaging are appropriately trained in delivery
Communication Program Management: Develops company-wide internal communication plans and templates, distribution lists, etc. Conducts regular reviews of communication programs and channels to ensure activities that deliver maximum penetration and value of engagement. Executes, moderates and monitors measures of success. Keeps relevant and “on trend” with communication forums that serve multiple and diverse demographic audiences. Monitors measurement of success in employee engagement and EVP as a key indicator of success.
