Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled B2B Copywriter to join our growing marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of how to write for B2B audiences in the tech space, with a sharp eye for AP style, tone consistency, and message clarity.
The successful candidate will help us sharpen our brand voice across every customer touchpoint, from product brochures and sales decks to social media and digital ads.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and a skilled writer who thrives on turning complex ideas into persuasive, human copy that speaks directly to our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
You will work cross-functionally with design, product marketing, and demand generation to ensure messaging is tight, on-brand, and conversion-oriented.
Core Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice across all content and channels.
• Collaborate with brand and content marketing leads to evolved messaging frameworks and tone guidelines.
• Translate brand positioning and value propositions into compelling narratives.
Content Creation:
• Write high-quality copy for various formats, including but not limited to:
• Sales enablement content (e.g., one-pagers, decks, etc.)
• Customer success materials (e.g., onboarding flows, FAQs, help articles)
• Ad creatives and performance campaigns (ads, display, PPC)
• Social media posts tailored to different platforms
• Web copy for landing pages, homepage messaging, CTAs
• Video scripts (promo videos, webinars, explainers)
Audience-Centric Writing:
• Tailor content for different personas within the ICP.
• Adjust tone and messaging based on funnel stage (awareness, consideration, decision).
• Write with clarity, empathy, and strategic intent for both technical and non-technical buyers.
Editorial Standards Quality Control:
• Apply AP style (or house style) to maintain consistency and professionalism.
• Edit and proofread content for grammar, tone, brand consistency, and clarity.
• Maintain high standards for originality—no reliance on AI-generated content.
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS or tech environment.
• Native-level fluency in English and deep familiarity with U.S. market language nuances.
• Demonstrated expertise in writing clear, engaging, AP-style copy across digital assets.
• Ability to tailor messaging for technical and non-technical audiences alike.
• Experience writing for different stages of the buyer's journey.
• Strong understanding of B2B marketing principles and ICP targeting.
• A portfolio showcasing original work—not AI-generated—with examples of brand, sales, and social content.
• Highly organized with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
Nice to Haves:
• Familiarity with MarTech, AdTech, or PrintTech industries,
• Background in SEO and performance-driven copywriting,
• Editorial or journalism background,
• Experience working with creative teams—especially understanding of content layout, visual hierarchy, and how copy and design work together,
• Prior experience developing product messaging or positioning frameworks alongside product marketing,
• Ability to take ownership and run with projects from brief to delivery, proactively managing deadlines and feedback cycles,
• A strong internal sense of urgency, accountability, and pride in craftsmanship,
