Role Description This full-time, on-site Sales Manager role is based in Rayagada. The Sales Manager will oversee daily sales operations, including managing the showroom floor, monitoring inquiries, and ensuring a smooth sales process from lead generation to vehicle delivery. Responsibilities include setting and tracking sales targets, guiding and coaching the sales team, and implementing local marketing and promotional activities to drive footfall and conversions. The role involves building strong relationships with customers and dealers, handling escalations, and ensuring high standards of customer service and satisfaction. The Sales Manager will also prepare regular sales reports, analyze market trends and competitor activities, and coordinate with regional and corporate teams to align local strategies with overall business goals.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the automotive or two-wheeler industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Strong skills in team leadership, coaching, and performance management to guide a sales team effectively.
• Ability to develop and execute local sales and marketing plans, including customer outreach and promotional campaigns.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills, with a focus on service quality and retention.
• Comfort with sales reporting, basic data analysis, and use of CRM or dealership management systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• Understanding of the local market in and around Rayagada and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak seasons as needed.
• Professional conduct, integrity, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and dealership partners.
