Field Sales Executive – Tractor Sales Department: Sales Reports To: Cluster Head / Dealer Principle Location: Ludhiana District Employment Type: Full-Time About the RoleWe are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Field Sales Executive to drive tractor sales in the assigned territory. The role involves building relationships with farmers, dealers, and rural customers, generating leads, and closing sales to achieve monthly and annual targets. Key Responsibilities Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for tractors and allied farm equipment in the assigned territory Conduct regular field visits to villages, mandis, farmer meetings, and agricultural events to generate leads Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, dealers, and local influencers (village heads, cooperative societies, agri-input dealers) Demonstrate tractor features, capabilities, and financing options to prospective customers Coordinate with dealership staff for test drives, bookings, and delivery follow-ups Support customers with loan/finance documentation by liaising with banks and NBFCs Track competitor activity, pricing, and schemes in the territory and report to management Organize and participate in demo camps, farmer melas, and promotional events Maintain daily sales reports (DSR), customer database, and pipeline updates in CRM/Excel Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and handle post-sale queries/escalations Collect market intelligence on crop patterns, farmer income cycles, and seasonal demand Required Qualifications & ExperienceGraduate in any discipline (Agriculture background preferred but not mandatory) 0–5 years of field sales experience, preferably in tractors, automobiles, farm equipment, or FMCG rural sales Freshers with strong rural market understanding may also be considered Key SkillsStrong communication skills in local/regional language(s) Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned rural territory Good understanding of agricultural practices, farmer needs, and financing schemes Negotiation and relationship-building skills Basic computer/mobile app proficiency for reporting (CRM, Excel, WhatsApp) Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently Other RequirementsMust own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license (mandatory for daily field travel) Willingness to work in rural/semi-urban locations Flexibility to work on weekends/market days as per local mandi/haat schedules CompensationFixed salary + attractive incentive structure based on sales achievement
