Job Overview
The Senior Real Estate Attorney will be responsible for supporting the legal needs of our company's operations.
This includes providing legal assistance on transactions, compliance, corporate governance, and risk management.
Main Responsibilities
Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to real estate, employment, governance, litigation, and finance transactions.
Conduct legal due diligence on potential acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures.
Collaborate with internal teams to identify and mitigate legal risks.
Support corporate governance activities, including preparing materials for board meetings and managing corporate records.
Assist with litigation management and interface with outside counsel, as necessary.
Assist the General Counsel in all facets of the company's legal needs.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on real estate, corporate, finance, and commercial litigation.
Proven experience with transactional work and contract negotiation, especially in the real estate and finance sectors.
Strong understanding of real estate and securities laws, including regulatory compliance.
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
High ethical standards, strong attention to detail, and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
