The Role:
We are seeking a full-time Civil Litigation Attorney to join our talented legal team in Las Vegas, NV. This role offers a hybrid work model. (Remote position, however, must live within driving distance to the local office as occasional onsite work may be required.) You will be integral to our civil litigation defense efforts, overseeing various aspects of case management and client representation: drafting and filing motions, preparing for and attending court trials, conducting depositions and providing legal counsel to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and file motions, pleadings, and discovery.
Represent clients in trial, arbitrations, depositions, and mediations.
Keep clients and/or their insurers informed.
Offer expert legal advice to clients.
Manage daily litigation tasks.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of law and civil litigation procedures.
Track record of drafting and arguing motions.
Ability to navigate the court system effectively.
Experience in trial preparation and courtroom representation.
Skills in conducting depositions and witness examinations.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
Active membership in the Nevada State Bar.
Prior experience in construction or casualty claims.

The compensation package for this role includes an annual salary between $110,000 and $150,000. The final figure will be determined based on several factors, including the selected candidate's expertise and background.
