Company Description

With properties in some of Australia’s most iconic locations, NRMA Parks and Resorts provide accommodation that suits every budget, style, and occasion – from campsites to luxury resorts. We connect holidaymakers with over 50 incredible destinations to create unforgettable holiday experiences.

Part of the trusted NRMA Group, a member-owned brand, our passionate team works together to make holiday magic happen—it's not just our job, it's in our nature.

Job Description
Based at our stunning beachfront office in Coolangatta, you can watch the whales pass by from your desk, or feel the sand between your toes during your lunch time walk
We know life isn't just about work. That's why this is a hybrid role - to help you find the right balance
What you will do:

From campgrounds under the stars to coastal resorts by the sea, NRMA Parks and Resorts is here to create unforgettable getaways in regional Australia. We’re looking for a driven, creative, and results-focused Marketing Manager to lead state-based marketing strategies across our broad portfolio of Holiday Parks - helping us spread the holiday spirit even further.

Strategise and Scale: Develop and deliver portfolio marketing strategies aligned to the overall business and marketing objectives. Apply an audience-first lens to drive scalable, efficient solutions across a diverse group of properties.
Lead and Inspire: Manage and mentor a junior team member, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and creative thinking.
Execute with Impact: Plan and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns and content initiatives in collaboration with brand, digital, and performance teams focused on driving bookings and revenue growth.
Collaborate and Influence: Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders including Operations, Revenue, Membership, Digital, and Property teams to ensure alignment of marketing activity with business goals. Support properties with event, food beverage, and local area marketing initiatives.
Optimise and Innovate: Adopt a test-and-learn mindset, using campaign performance data and guest insights to refine and improve marketing activity and channel performance.
Own the Numbers: Contribute to annual budgeting and oversee monthly reconciliation. Monitor performance and report on campaign results, effectiveness, and ROI.
Manage partnerships: Own relationships with relevant state and regional tourism organisations, distribution partners, and commercial partnerships that support marketing activity and commercial growth.
Represent the business: Attend trade and industry events relevant to the portfolio and positively represent the brand through networking and partnership development.
Be a Thought Leader: Champion innovation within the team — bringing fresh ideas to the table, embracing new technologies (including AI), and supporting the broader growth of the marketing function.
What You’ll Bring

Demonstrated leadership experience or a strong ambition to step into people management
A growth mindset and ability to collaborate across functions to drive commercial outcomes
Strategic thinking paired with hands-on initiative and creativity
Strong prioritisation, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Agility and resilience to adapt to the needs of a growing and fast-paced business
Willingness to travel to properties and industry events as required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
