As we expand our operations in India, we are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead on-site event execution and drive operational excellence.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning and execution of end-to-end event technology operations
- Ensure timely and efficient execution of all events, maintaining high-quality standards
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of event coordinators and volunteers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align event objectives with company goals
- Manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
- Implement and optimize event registration and management tools
- Analyze post-event performance data to identify strengths and areas for improvement
- Supervise on-site logistics to ensure smooth event flow and timely resolutions
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely, quality service delivery
- Develop and maintain event timelines, schedules, and documentation
- Monitor potential event-related risks and address challenges proactively
- Prepare and share operational reports with senior leadership
- Stay abreast of industry trends and new event technologies to keep offerings competitive
Skills and Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Management or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in operations or event management
- Proven success in managing large-scale events
- Strong team leadership and people management skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Proficiency in event management software and technology tools
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Experience in budget planning and cost control
- Sound knowledge of risk and vendor management
- Certification in project management is a plus
- Willingness to travel and manage on-site setups as required
