Are you passionate about making a real difference in K–12 education? Do you love solving problems, building authentic relationships, and using data to make smarter marketing decisions? If you're someone who thrives in a small, entrepreneurial environment and enjoys both strategic thinking and rolling up your sleeves, we want to hear from you.
At Wipebook, we make reusable whiteboard tools that help students and professionals think more clearly, collaborate better, and work through complex problems. Since our early days on Dragon’s Den and one of Canada's most successful Kickstarter campaigns, we’ve grown significantly—especially in the K–12 space—and we’re just getting started.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to take ownership of our marketing strategy and execution. This isn’t a siloed or purely managerial role—you’ll be deeply involved in everything from setting up the right marketing tech stack, to analyzing funnel metrics, to chatting with school board leaders at conferences.
You’ll oversee a small, growing team, lead projects end-to-end, and help us strengthen our presence in the education community. If you enjoy working closely with a small, passionate team where your ideas are implemented quickly and your work has a visible impact, you’ll thrive here.
What You’ll Do
Lead and execute full-funnel marketing strategies to grow our customer base and deepen our reach in K–12 education.
Represent Wipebook at conferences, trade shows, and in-person events—building relationships, forming partnerships, and becoming a trusted face in the education community.
Build and manage relationships with educators, influencers, school leaders, and institutional partners.
Manage and support a small internal marketing team, helping to prioritize work, solve problems, and drive results.
Design and maintain our marketing tech stack, including CRM systems, marketing automation, lead tracking, and reporting tools.
Use tools like Google Analytics and BigQuery to monitor campaign performance, uncover insights, update sales/marketing model and continuously improve our approach.
Oversee digital marketing channels, including email, paid social, content marketing, SEO, and web optimization—with a focus on measurable impact.
What You’ll Bring
10+ years of experience in marketing roles, ideally with a mix of B2B and B2C.
Strong experience marketing to educators or within the K–12 education sector.
A proven track record using data and analytics to drive decisions, improve funnels, and measure ROI.
Hands-on experience setting up or managing a marketing technology stack (e.g. CRM, automation, analytics, lead tracking).
Comfortable being the primary marketing lead in a lean organization—wearing multiple hats, learning on the fly, and driving initiatives forward.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the confidence to speak at events and represent our brand publicly.
A natural relationship builder who enjoys connecting with people and creating meaningful partnerships.
Willingness and availability to travel within Canada and the U.S. for events and conferences throughout the year.
