Location: Ahmedabad Role overview: The position under CSR coordinates with various project teams and entities implementing various projects for human resource needs including overall monitoring, support, and guidance for smooth functioning of projects. S/he will guide Senior Management of various projects in design, implementation of human resource policies, systems and processes, compliance under regulatory requirements, based on latest practices in the industry. The position coordinates with Human Resource and legal department to troubleshoot and introduce superior standards of human resource management. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment â Support drafting and finalisation of position descriptions, ensure job postings on various job portals, initial screening of applications, collate applicant information and manage interview logistics in co-ordination with the hiring managers. Induction â Ensure a comprehensive induction process for all new staff including induction presentations completion of joining documentation and probationary processes. Ensure that staff have a comprehensive understanding of their roles and responsibilities, organisation policies etc. Employee Benefits â Manage and track all employee benefits like leave, medical and accident insurance etc. and provide support to staff as required. Performance Management â Support the Management Team in the completion of the annual performance management and development planning process, and mid-year review. Staff Training â In consultation with Management Teams identify staff training and capacity building needs and coordinate staff training. Exits â Ensure a smooth and cordial exit process for staff including convening of an exit interview with the Management Team member, clearances, and issue of relieving letters etc. Volunteer / Consultantâs management - Ensure engagement and contract management of project volunteers and consultants. HR Information Management â Maintain audit ready HR documentation. Update and maintain the HR master database and process trackers on a regular basis. Generate MIS reports as required. Regulatory Compliance -Ensure HR related regulatory compliances and adherence record keeping and timely submission of documents. Employee Engagement -Support the Management Teams in organizing project staff meetings and other project staff related events, workshops and seminars. Undertake other HR and Administration tasks as assigned from time to time Qualifications and Skills: Candidate must be MBA/MSW in Human Resources from a reputed institution with 5 yearsâ experience in any organisation operating at national level. Candidates. Extensive knowledge about Labour Laws, PF, ESIC, Gratuity etc. Thorough knowledge of human environment in not for profit sector. Well conversant with MS Office Suite especially advanced skills in MS Excel for handling MIS and generating reports. Ability to singlehandedly handle recruitment process and troubleshooting. Track record of undertaking a range of tasks simultaneously, adherence to timelines and ensuring delivery of quality reports. Result oriented and ability to suggest solutions to complex problems. Proven skills in team management and mentoring. Good written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team with various counterparts by maintaining positive working relationships. The job holder is required to travel periodically to project sites (20%).
