Mō tēnei mahi (About this job)

We are seeking a proactive Kaiāwhina to support our Kaiako in delivering our Te Ara Reo Māori programme within a proactive, supportive, and whānau-based environment. This is a permanent, part-time position (15 hours per week) that starts in January 2025, supporting with evening classes.

This role also assists the Kaiako in preparing resources and classrooms, monitoring student attendance, supporting tauira learning, administration tasks and student recruitment.


Mōu (About you)

The successful candidate will bring with them:

The ability to converse in Te Reo Māori.

As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) will be key.
