Applications are currently being accepted for a Full Time Human Resources Manager position for South Bruce Grey Health Centre.

Reporting to the President CEO, the Human Resources Manager is a key member of SBGHC and has corporate responsibility for setting and achieving the long and short term operational, financial, quality, and utilization/effectiveness goals for the portfolio. Key areas of active involvement include strategic and operational planning for talent attraction and retention, total rewards administration including payroll, benefits and pension, key HR metrics monitoring such as vacancy rate and sick time, quality initiatives relating to employee safety, psychological safety, inclusion and wellness and corporate concerns, including labour relations, occupational health and safety and compliance with employment laws and regulations.

This role requires a full-time, on-site presence and will provide strategic leadership, human resources expertise, and meticulous change management to implement HR strategies aligned with the hospital’s goals and objectives. The incumbent will work with many stakeholders ensuring that HR facilitates the adoption of best practices for enhanced staff engagement and wellness, streamlined HR workflows and support for all employees (nurses, pharmacy, diagnostic imaging, allied health professionals and support services). The Human Resources Manager will ensure that solutions are developed with a focus on ensuring a safe, inclusive and healthy work environment.

Leading a team of HR professionals, the HR Manager will manage and oversee the full spectrum of HR operations across the organization including HR, labour relations, performance management, benefits and compensation, regulatory compliance, recruitment and retention and occupational health and safety.

SBGHC is looking for a talented and respected HR leader who is passionate about healthcare and innovative human resources solutions. The successful incumbent is a confident leader with demonstrated experience in human resources involving complex change management, strategic workforce planning and performance management.

They will have successfully completed a post-secondary Human Resources program and have 5+ years progressive experience in HR management in healthcare.

PREFERRED
• CHRL or CHRE designation
• Change Management (PROSCI or other)
• Experience in managing complex unionized environments
