Role: Lead - HRBP/Human Resources Lead

Location: Mumbai (Full-time, Office-based)

Reporting to: Lead – Talent Management

Team: 5-6 Resources

Scope: PAN India

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned HR Business Partner to lead our HRBP function across India. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing a team of HRBPs and partnering closely with business leaders to support our diverse workforce—ranging from corporate teams to on-ground construction, hospitality and frontline staff.

Location Work Style:

This position is based out of our Mumbai headquarters and requires regular travel to regional offices and project sites across India. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment, and must demonstrate the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on, on-ground problem-solving.

Roles Responsibilities:
• HR Strategy Business Partnering: Collaborate with senior leadership to align people strategy with business goals and drive high-impact HR interventions across the organization.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of 6 HRBPs (4 direct, 2 indirect) to deliver consistent HR support across PAN India, including both corporate and field environments.
• Grievance Management Field HR Engagement: Handle complex employee relations issues, particularly from construction sites and frontline teams. Serve as a key escalation point for all grievance matters.
• Policy Implementation Compliance: Drive policy adherence, ensure compliance with employment laws, and create awareness around HR policies and processes across all levels.
• Centre of Excellence (COE) Management:
• Directly Lead: Organization Development (OD): Responsible for spearheading initiatives related to org design, change management, leadership development, and capability building.
• Oversee Through Reportees:
• Provide strategic direction and governance for the following COEs, managed through HRBP team members:
• Rewards Recognition
• Employee Engagement LSA
• Onboarding Exit Processes
• Performance Management System (PMS)
• HRBP Compliance Audits
• Pulse Surveys eNPS
• HRBP Process Automation
• HR Analytics Reporting: Monitor key HR metrics, generate insights, and use data to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Succession Planning Talent Development: Partner with Talent COE to drive succession planning, talent reviews, and development journeys for key talent segments.
• Change Management: Champion change initiatives, lead communication plans, and support adoption across levels and functions.

Key Requirements:

Experience:
• 9 – 15 years of HR experience in HR Partnering roleout of which atleast 5+ years leading teams
• Experience working with a mix of corporate and Field/Frontline level employees is essential
• Willingness to travel to other company locations and project sites across India

Education:
• Graduate in any discipline
• MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent HR certification
• Preferred Industry Background:
• Real Estate, Construction, Facility Management, Hospitality, or any operations-heavy industry

Skills Tools:
• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi (a must for engaging with frontline teams)
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word; exposure to HRMS and analytics tools is a bonus
