Overview:

The HR Administrator will play a key role in supporting the HR department with various administrative tasks and functions. The successful candidate will ensure efficient HR operations, provide excellent service to employees, and assist in executing HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the onboarding process and facilitate HR orientation sessions for new hires.
Support with the administration of benefits programs and employee education on the programs.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits and other HR-related matters.
Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability case management with the external benefit provider.
Partner with the HRConnect team to discuss open cases, issues, answer questions and identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement.
Support with updating content on the HRConnect portal and contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Management of the HR email box and support with employee communications.
Support with HR vendor management, and invoicing and payments.
Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an HR support or administration role.
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Workday systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Knowledge of Canadian labor laws and employment standards is an asset.
