We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial accounting and tax compliance, with the ability to analyse complex financial data and provide strategic guidance. This role is pivotal in ensuring our clients receive exceptional financial services while adhering to all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the preparation of tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Conduct thorough analyses of financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities and ensure optimal tax strategies are implemented.
Collaborate with clients to provide expert advice on financial planning and tax implications of various business decisions.
Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and other tools to maintain accurate financial records and streamline processes.
Supervise accounts payable functions, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on client operations.
Train and mentor junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients, outlining findings and recommendations.
Qualifications

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential; professional qualifications such as ACA or ACCA are highly desirable.
Proven experience in tax management or a similar role within the financial services sector.
Strong knowledge of accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and proficiency in financial accounting principles.
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong focus on client service.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational skills.
