Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the specific hiring needs for each department and position.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract top talent for a variety of roles, including job postings, networking, and leveraging social media platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, and niche job boards.
Conduct proactive candidate sourcing through job portals, employee referrals, and industry-specific events to ensure a continuous pool of candidates.
Create and maintain a network of potential candidates for future openings.
Utilize various recruitment tools, databases, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage and track candidates through the hiring pipeline.
2. Screening and Interviewing:
Review resumes and applications, shortlisting candidates based on job requirements and company culture fit.
Conduct initial screening calls to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates’ skills, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
Maintain detailed records of each candidate’s progress and communicate feedback to both candidates and hiring managers.
3. Candidate Engagement:
Provide a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, keeping candidates informed and engaged.
Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, responding to queries about the role, the company, and the interview process.
Build long-term relationships with candidates for future job opportunities, even if they are not selected for the current role.
Provide coaching and feedback to candidates to ensure their continued professional development.
4. Job Offer and Onboarding:
Work with hiring managers to create job offers, ensuring all details (salary, benefits, etc.) align with company policies.
Extend job offers and manage negotiations with candidates.
Ensure that new hires are successfully onboarded, ensuring a smooth transition from offer acceptance to their first day of work.
Maintain and update employee records as part of the onboarding process.
5. Recruitment Administration:
Keep detailed and accurate records of candidate information in the ATS and other databases.
Track and report on recruitment metrics, including time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and source of hire.
Assist with recruitment-related paperwork, including background checks, employment verification, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with legal and company recruitment policies and practices.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment to improve the overall hiring process.
6. Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing:
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote employer branding efforts and create attractive job postings.
Participate in career fairs, college recruitment events, and other outreach activities to increase the company’s visibility and attract top talent.
Ensure that job postings align with the company’s values, culture, and recruitment goals.
7. Continuous Improvement:
Provide recommendations for process improvements based on feedback from candidates and hiring managers.
Analyze recruitment trends, feedback, and data to streamline recruitment efforts and improve efficiency.
Work on developing strategies to enhance the candidate experience and improve retention during the recruitment process.
