We are seeking an experienced person to work closely with the CEO and leadership team to further develop and maintain our HR quality practices and deliver excellent support to our staff across the employee lifecycle from recruitment to employee exit to support.
Nightlife is a high-quality service, that is registered and accredited to deliver services under the National Disability Insurance Standards. The successful applicant will be a key partner in maintaining our comprehensive Quality, Risk and Compliance framework, supporting continuous improvement and risk management. An understanding of the not for profit sector and desire to make a difference will be helpful in the role.
REPORTING AND RELATIONSHIPS
This role reports to the Chief Executive Officer.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Accurately maintain human resources data and assist in the development of statistics and reports, and actively participate in the continuous improvement of systems and procedures
· Provide up-to-date information for Nightlife’s website and coordinate HR information on the Intranet
· Set up, register and manage confidential employee and other files as required
· Ensure all HR activities at Nightlife are compliant with regulatory and legal requirements
· Ensure all people related policies and procedures are compliant with Victorian State legislation and Fair Work National Employment Standards, and NDIS Code of Conduct
· Work collaboratively with and provide advice to the payroll section and advice to employees in relation to application of award and agreement conditions
· Coordinate investigations where appropriate and other related workforce management matters
· Advise and support leaders with people related matters across the employee lifecycle
· Provide advice and support to managers on the Performance and Development Process
· Coordinate all aspects of recruitment and on-boarding of new employees with managers including writing Job Descriptions, developing staff contracts, onboarding new staff, Co-ordinating timely and engaging induction programs
· Conduct exit interviews and provide quarterly reports on exit data and themes
QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE
· Tertiary qualifications in human resources management or equivalent demonstrated experience working in a similar Disability services organisation
· At least 2-3 years in a similar role - a stand-alone HR Co-ordinator, working across all elements of the employee lifecycle
Proven track record in managing quality, safety and risk management programs
Experience working within a passionate team
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE
To be eligible for this role the incumbent must have currency in the following:
NDIS Workers Screening Check
Current Drivers License
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $76,000.00 – $82,000.00 per year
