We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to own end-to-end HR functions, from talent acquisition to separation, with a special focus on Performance Management System (PMS). You will work closely with leadership to streamline HR processes, enhance employee engagement, and cultivate a high-performing culture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment Onboarding
• Partner with department heads to define job requirements, skill sets, and success criteria.
• Source candidates via job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and campus drives; screen resumes and shortlist effectively.
• Coordinate interviews (telephonic, video, on-site), gather feedback, negotiate offers, and manage offer letters.
• Ensure a seamless onboarding experience: complete documentation, conduct inductions, assign mentors, and follow up on orientation.
2. Performance Management
• Design, implement, and manage the annual PMS calendar: goal setting, mid-year reviews, and year-end appraisals.
• Train managers and employees on writing SMART objectives, competency assessments, and giving/receiving constructive feedback.
• Facilitate calibration meetings; ensure consistent evaluation standards and address rating discrepancies.
• Analyze performance metrics, identify talent gaps, and recommend interventions (coaching, training, recognition programs).
3. Employee Relations Engagement
• Act as a trusted HR business partner to employees—handle inquiries, resolve grievances, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Develop and execute internal communication strategies (all-hands, newsletters, policy updates) to keep teams informed and motivated.
• Lead employee engagement initiatives: pulse surveys, town halls, cultural events, and recognition programs.
• Proactively identify and address morale or retention risks; collaborate with leadership on action plans.
4. Compensation, Benefits Compliance
• Coordinate payroll processing with Finance: verify attendance, leaves, reimbursements, and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT).
• Conduct periodic compensation benchmarking against industry standards to ensure market competitiveness.
• Manage employee benefits programs (medical insurance, wellness schemes, employee assistance) and review provider partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws: maintain statutory registers, file returns (PF, ESI, LWF), and coordinate audits/inspections.
5. Learning Development
• Perform training needs analysis by partnering with department heads; prioritize technical upskilling, soft-skills, and leadership development.
• Source external vendors or design in-house programs; manage training budgets, schedules, and post-training evaluations.
• Track LD ROI through training effectiveness surveys and performance improvements.
6. HR Operations Analytics
• Maintain and update HRIS/employee records: personal data, attendance logs, leave balances, and exit documentation.
• Generate HR dashboards covering hiring metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire), turnover rates, attrition analysis, and PMS outcomes.
• Continuously review and optimize HR policies, employee handbooks, and SOPs to enhance efficiency and clarity.
