Summary:

Moments by Maddie is a fast-growing event planning company based in Cibolo, TX, known for planning seamless, stylish, and stress-free weddings and events. We're looking for a Wedding Event Coordinator to support our team onsite during events. This is a part-time, contract position perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves logistics, and enjoys being part of meaningful celebrations.

Success in this role looks like keeping event days running smoothly, staying two steps ahead of the timeline, and creating an amazing experience for both clients and guests. Coordinators are essential to our event execution and are trusted with representing our brand with professionalism and calm under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with event set-up and breakdown, including décor placement and vendor coordination
• Manage the event timeline and ensure all activities stay on schedule
• Communicate with vendors, guests, and the lead planner throughout the event
• Solve unexpected issues quickly and calmly
• Ensure the venue stays clean, organized, and presentable
• Support lead planner and represent the Moments by Maddie brand with enthusiasm and professionalism

Qualifications:
• Experience in event coordination, hospitality, customer service, or related field preferred
• Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm and organized in high-pressure environments
• Must be available on weekends (Fridays–Sundays)
• Physically able to stand for long periods and work up to 16-hour days
• Reliable transportation to events in the New Braunfels, San Antonio, and Hill Country areas
• Punctual, positive, and team-oriented
• Must be comfortable working independently once trained
• $20/hour starting pay
