EHS Training Lead

Reporting To

Site Workplace Safety Head

Position Purpose

EHS Training Lead would spearhead employee training and development activities w.r.t. EHS at the Site. EHS Training Lead would identify training needs, develop effective training programs, deliver trainings, supervise the work of external trainers and manage training budgets w.r.t. EHS Aspects.

Strategic Responsibilities
• Ensuring strategic alignment of the EHS Trainings with organisation goals.
• EHS Training Lead plays a lead strategic role, overseeing the creation of content, e-learning, collateral and other training materials that will impact behaviour-changing training using various training theories inclusive of job aids, facilitator and participant guides, on-the-job training systems, tutorials, and demonstration models.
• Develops and maintains interactive learning solutions that drive measurable results.
• Ensure that training is meeting needs and improving overall EHS performance Requirements.

Operational Responsibilities
• Develop individualized and group training programs that address specific needs.
• Develop training manuals that target tangible results.
• Implement effective and purposeful safety training methods.
• Effectively manage the training budget.
• Ensure that training is meeting needs and improving overall safety performance.
• Effectively communicate with team members, trainers and management.
• Create a curriculum to facilitate safety training based on the organizations goals.
• Select and manage resources, including working with both internal employees and training vendors to develop and deliver training.
• Manage the technologies and technical personnel required to develop, manage and deliver training.
• Keep abreast of training trends, developments and best practices.

• EHS Training Lead is highly collaborative role where he builds solid cross-functional relationships with departmental heads and employees across the site.

Education Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree Engineering or Science (mandatory) and PDIS/ADIS

Work Experience

06 – 10 years
