DESCRIPTION

Shopbop is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual for a role that combines fashion-based data entry with writing unique details to describe key product information in customer facing descriptions that are featured on both Amazon Marketplace and Shopbop.com product pages.

An interest in fashion is a must, and familiarity with textiles, fabrics names, and clothing construction is necessary for the successful candidate. The role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to concisely and accurately convey product details to the customer—so writing skills are a plus!

Key job responsibilities
Capture and record measurements and data for a variety of products accurately and efficiently
Utilize and interpret vendor provided specifications to convey necessary information
Determine and record fabric type and key unique details of product while leveraging SEO best practices/SOPs
Assign HTS Classification using internal and external programs
Physically and systematically prep and move product through workflows which includes using a pallet jack or carts to move product
Self-manage workload to meet or exceed daily quotas with impeccable accuracy
Assist in other areas and cross train on other teams as needed, including inventory or studio teams
Assist in miscellaneous projects as needed, including auditing processes and excel reporting

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
3 years of ecomm experience
Bachelors Degree
Knowledge of fashion, clothing construction, and fabric types
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong reading and writing skills with an emphasis on spelling and grammar
Ability to read small print quickly and accurately
Able to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment as well as on a team
Exceptional time management, problem solving, and multitasking skills
Keen eye for detail
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
40-hour work week with flexibility to work overtime
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Prior experience in a Catalog role or writing product descriptions
