The Marketing Digital Experience portfolio exists to enhance UNSW's global brand reputation and supports its 'Progress for All' strategic plan by focusing on audience centricity and leveraging advanced marketing, content, data, digital experience, and student recruitment functions. This team aims to create sharper brand distinctiveness, amplify the university's expertise, and foster deeper personalized relationships to achieve both commercial and societal impact outcomes.

The Marketing Digital Experience portfolio has four pillars: Marketing Content, Digital Experience, Strategy Performance, and Future Student Recruitment, with offshore China and India operations also reporting into the portfolio.

The Web Producer plays a key role in the Digital Experience team and is responsible for optimising the performance of our web environment, through maximising lead generation and enrolment conversion for the future student’s audience in support of achieving international or local enrolment targets.

The Web Producer reports to the Web Lead and has no direct reports. This role is fixed term until end of May 2026 (no possibility of extension at this stage).

Main responsibilities Summary

Optimise UNSW’s web environment for future students, ensuring we deliver a connected, personalised and streamlined experience consistently across the customer journey, driving business outcomes at every connection
Create, edit and monitor web pages to ensure our web environment is optimised to drive lead capture through the nurture and conversion of Domestic and International students
Monitor and report on website performance and audience behaviours, seeking opportunity to optimise outcomes for International and Domestic audiences
Execute conversion rate optimisation (CRO) initiatives with direction from the Web Lead, including split testing of creative and messaging, as well as UX/UI optimisation
As part of the Marketing Digital Experience capability uplift, support accelerated technology adoption (Adobe + CRM), including participating in training and on the job learning, and implementation of new ways of working
Who You Are

We are looking for someone who has great communication and interpersonal skills, who is aligned with UNSW’s vision and values and comes with:

Previous demonstrated experience creating, editing, optimising and monitoring websites
Demonstrated understanding of the application of UX design best practices, and an interest in UI design
Previous experience with a CMS is essential, ideally with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
Previous experience in higher education is highly regarded
Experience collaborating with developers to fix and enhance digital experiences, ensuring clear communication and project delivery
Previous experience with analytics. Ideally, previous experience with Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics products
Demonstrated commercial acumen and understanding of digital marketing / ecommerce, with an understanding of sales funnels and activation would be ideal. Experience in student recruitment will be highly regarded
Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, business hours. The job cannot be done fully remotely (two days a week on campus at this stage).

Candidates will need to have full working rights – this role is not available for sponsorship.
