Job Title: Video Editor Videographer

Location: Chennai
Department: Marketing
Reports to: Creative Director

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor Videographer to join our team. This role requires a versatile individual who can plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content that aligns with our brand and engages our audience across various platforms. You will be responsible for the entire video production process — from setting up shoots to delivering polished final edits.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute video shoots, including setting up lighting, audio, and camera equipment.
Operate cameras and direct on-site video shoots (interviews, promotional content, events, social media clips, etc.).
Edit raw footage into compelling, high-quality video content using industry-standard editing software.
Add graphics, effects, sound, and music to enhance videos while maintaining brand consistency.
Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to develop video concepts and storyboards.
Organize and maintain video equipment, footage, and file libraries.
Stay up to date with industry trends and suggest new ways to capture and produce content.
Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a video editor and videographer (portfolio required).
Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
Solid experience in operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras and audio/lighting equipment.
Good sense of timing, visual awareness, and storytelling skills.
Strong understanding of different video formats, aspect ratios, and social media requirements.
Ability to take creative direction and work both independently and collaboratively.
Basic knowledge of color grading and sound design is a plus.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Flexibility to travel for shoots as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:

Degree or certification in Film, Media Production, or related field (not mandatory if you have equivalent experience).
Motion graphics or animation skills (Adobe After Effects) are a plus.
Photography skills are an added advantage.
