Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a Strategic Industry Partner for the development of the Australian Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) Enterprise with goals to enhance self-reliance, supply chain resilience, and developing a guided weapons manufacturing capability in Australia. The Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO) will oversee the execution of GWEO initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
As a senior leader within the supply chain team, you’ll play a critical role in shaping and delivering strategies across high-priority defence programs, with a particular focus on Guided Weapons. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing end-to-end supply chain strategies, including strategies to develop or mature supply capability and capacity to support the introduction of production in Australia and improve international supply chain resilience
Leading the design, execution and management of complex subcontracts, ensuring cost, quality and schedule outcomes for the programs
Leading the subcontracting for complex product qualification activities
Leading the supply chain contribution to major bids and ongoing program delivery by preparing material and labour estimates, identifying and mitigating risk, and developing high-quality inputs for customer deliverables
Managing strategic supplier relationships
Representing the supply chain function in customer and industry forums, contributing to joint governance bodies, and working closely with partners, primes, and internal stakeholders to support successful program execution and industry collaboration
Driving continuous improvement initiatives across systems, tools, and processes
About you:
Proven experience leading high-performing teams within a complex project delivery environment.
Deep expertise in managing the full procurement and subcontract lifecycle, from strategy through to contract execution and performance.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including industry partners and customers.
Strong track record in delivering Australian Industrial Capability outcomes and driving local supply chain development.
