Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for individuals across different age groups, including early intervention and school-aged children.
Develop and implement tailored speech-language therapy plans that address specific communication needs and goals.
Provide direct therapy sessions via in-person, utilizing evidence-based techniques to enhance speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing functions.
Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive treatment strategies and optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment progress, and therapy notes within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems while adhering to confidentiality standards.
Stay current with medical terminology, physiology, anatomy knowledge, and advancements in speech-language pathology to deliver high-quality care.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate patient care plans effectively and support individuals with speech impairments or disabilities across settings such as clinics, schools, or homes.
Skills
Proven experience working with pediatric populations and early intervention programs.
Strong background in speech therapy techniques for diverse communication disorders including language therapy and speech impairments.
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech production and swallowing functions.
Skilled in conducting comprehensive assessments and interpreting results for accurate diagnosis.
Ability to develop clear, effective speech-language therapy plans tailored to individual needs.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or complex medical conditions across age groups.
Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and delivering remote services effectively.
Excellent collaboration skills for working with families, educators, medical teams, and other professionals in multidisciplinary settings.
