Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. This role involves supervising staff, managing food safety standards, and maintaining an efficient and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and scheduling team members to ensure smooth operations.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling procedures to maintain quality standards.
Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
Monitor daily restaurant operations to optimize efficiency, including supervising serving staff and kitchen personnel.
Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Implement and enforce health and safety protocols, including food safety practices.
Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs.
Foster a positive team environment through leadership, motivation, and effective communication.
Oversee cleanliness and organization of the restaurant to meet health code standards.
Skills
Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality leadership with supervising experience.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry standards.
Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
Leadership qualities with the ability to manage teams effectively and conduct interviewing processes.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
Experience in kitchen operations, food service, serving, and hospitality environments.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
