Job Description
This role involves increasing sales of distributors by offering training and meeting more customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for making new distributors from competitions and building trust among existing distributors.
Primary Responsibilities
• Contact and physically meet with retail shops, dealers, and distributors to inform them about Loom Solar products and offerings.
• Cold call prospective customers and dealers to identify sales opportunities.
• Lead generation for dealer networks to increase sales.
• Negotiate with dealers to sell Loom Solar products at competitive prices.
• Prepare quotations and share them with dealers for their order requirements.
• Record and update all visits in the company's sales application.
• Pickup calls and respond to dealers on an immediate basis.
• Ensure Loom Solar products are the first choice in the channel compared to competition.
• Ensure stock availability of 30 days' inventory with channel partners.
• Monitor distributor and dealer stock movements and secondary/tertiary sales.
• Conduct distributor/dealer meets and training programs.
Requirements
• A preferred graduate/MBA candidate with 1-2 years' experience in the solar/power backup industry.
• Preference will be given to employees from companies such as Luminous, Liveguard, Exide, Microtek, Okaya, Polycab, and Havells.
• Great communication skills, fluency in both English and Hindi.
• An attitude to get things done, willing to work for minimum 2 years.
• Rigorous follow-up and negotiation skills to build relationships with dealers/distributors.
