Job Description

Main Purpose

In this role, you’ll manage the Advance Technology Group’s Supply Chain Management for all Contract Manufactured products & NPI activities. You’ll partner with all departments to ensure a positive impact on revenue growth in bringing disruptive new technologies and solutions to market.

Responsibilities
• Provide support and guidance to the Engineering Team for NPI Transfer Order to our ODM
• Manage the Supply Chain for Production Order through our ODM
• Responsible for NPI supply chain process management for new products
• Contribute to onboarding new suppliers such as ODM’s and CM’s
• Ensure that all necessary procedures for test, assembly and programming are in place and of sufficient standard and clarity.
• Support in Supply Chain function of specific sourcing or escalation work involving critical costs and engineering considerations; including analysis and trade-offs of functionality versus cost.
• Work with product marketing and engineering to identify the relevant standards required for a project before design work commences
• Responsible to develop the AT Group strategic roadmap to Improve Supply & Operations maturity
• Accountable to define key Operational metrics and track benefits and improvements to the business
• Ensure the certifications requirements are correctly captured and documents on PRD’s and all relevant documentation

Knowledge and Experience
• Vendor / Supplier service orientation: proactively developing vendor / supplier relationships making efforts to maintain a respectful and well working relationship by understanding the vendor / supplier point of view whilst ensuring Taoglas needs are met.

• Negotiation; effectively exploring alternatives and positions to reach outcomes that gain all parties’ support and acceptance.
• Planning and organisation; establishing a course of action for self and/or others to accomplish a specific goal; planning proper assignments of personnel and appropriate allocation of resources. Establishing procedures to monitor the results of delegations, assignments, or projects.
• Attention to detail; accomplishing tasks through concern for all involved, no matter how small; showing concern for all aspects of the job; accurately checking processes and tasks; maintaining watchfulness over a period of time
• Clear communication: ensure that communications are clear, concise and based on established facts, where opinion or experience are being voiced, ensure this is understood. Communicate as transparently and factually as possible being respectful of people’s time.
• Analytical: Ability to receive, make a side by side comparison of detailed cost breakdown & analyse the same.
• Processes: A fair idea of QA, supplier process audits would be an added advantage.

Desirable Qualifications and Skills
• 4-6 years’ experience of working in electronics manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing 3rd party suppliers in contract negotiation and dispute resolution.
• Excellent written & spoken communication skills. The ability to build strong relationships over the phone and via email.
• Proven skills of spend management & ensuring best costs for the parts sourced
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, ability to multitask and must thrive under pressure.
• Ability to work alone & as part of a team. Contributes and adds to a team orientated company ethic.
• Ability to propose solutions to issues.
• Persistence and dedication to improving processes and procedures.
• Knowledge of PC and related technology and Proficient user of Microsoft Office products including excel and word.
• Experience of working in a technical environment.
