Job Title: Senior Java/Kotlin Developer

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Java/Kotlin Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience, with expertise in building scalable applications using Java, Kotlin, and Maven-based architectures.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Kotlin
• Build and manage projects using Maven
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams for end-to-end delivery
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Ensure high code quality with proper unit and integration testing
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 5–6 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development
• Strong experience with Kotlin for backend or modern application development
• Expertise in Maven build tools
• Solid understanding of Spring Boot / Spring Framework
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, Microservices architecture
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems
• Good understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms
Good to Have
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Experience in high-scale or distributed systems
