As a Senior HRBP , you’ll work closely with EXCO and business leaders to deliver HR strategy and people plans. This role combines both tactical and transformative work, applying deep HR knowledge to support various initiatives. You’ll demonstrate exceptional leadership, judgement, and results orientation, utilising your expertise across HR sub-functions and the employee lifecycle.

You’ll have the opportunity to bring fresh ideas, enjoying a wide scope role, partnering with SMEs across HR and business stakeholders to support strategic and operational plans in areas as varied as workforce planning through to talent strategy and the embedding of our diversity and inclusion commitments.

Role-modelling ING’s Orange Code is central to fostering mutual stakeholder respect. Your commercial acumen, ideally banking/financial services or a relevant, regulated industry background and experience will be useful. Skill and comfort consulting on legislative requirements is key. We’re looking for a data driven approach to people insights and actions to drive effective decision-making and execution. Our HRBPs play a valued role in change and transformation to achieve both our organisation and people strategy goals.

As a strategic HR practitioner with a proven ability to communicate, lead project delivery, and manage risk you’ll thrive in an Agile environment ING offers opportunity for the best of local and global exposure, working with international and local talent in an organisation supporting career and personal growth.

This role is open to either part-time or full-time.

What you’ll do
Implement and integrate HR strategy within the business unit.
Identify talent, support recruitment, and conduct capability analysis.
Execute tasks with ING culture and the Orange Code as guiding principles.
Ensure HR legislative requirements are met and coach business leaders on HR matters.
Partner with HR CoEs and the HRBP community to support strategic initiatives.
Identify and mitigate risks using data-driven insights.
Drive continuous improvement in HR processes, considering employee and leader feedback.
Advocate for employees and promote an employee-first approach.
Drive diversity and inclusion plans, nurturing a diverse and inclusive culture.

What we’re looking for
Over 10 years of HR experience, preferably in HR Business Partnering.
Strong understanding of technology and business systems.
Knowledge of Employee Relations and WHS legislation.
Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and drive change.
Experience in global and local HR transformation projects.
Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Law, Human Resources, Psychology, or Business.
Excellent communication, analytical, and team-working skills.
Commercial acumen and a passion for data.
