At Carlin Hall, we specialise in connecting exceptional talent with leading executive search and leadership advisory firms. Our network spans innovative brands and established names, supporting organisations looking to build high-performing teams and shape the future of work.
Our client is a renowned executive search firm with a dedicated HR Practice, working closely with FTSE-listed organisations and global businesses. They are seeking a Senior Associate to join their collaborative, high-performing team. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a respected HR Practice Lead, supporting high-impact assignments and developing your career in executive search.
As a Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR Practice Lead, managing search assignments and building strong relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders. This is a partnership role in a small, dynamic team, offering significant scope for personal development and progression.
Key Responsibilities
• Produce high-quality documentation and candidate reports for FTSE-listed and global clients.
• Conduct research, candidate sourcing and market mapping for senior HR roles (e.g., Chief People Officer, Chief Reward Officer, Global HR Director).
• Engage confidently with senior stakeholders and candidates at the executive level.
• Build and leverage internal relationships across various practice areas (Rewards, Business Advisory, Assessment etc.) to support cross-selling and collaboration.
• Support business development activities and contribute to the growth of the HR Practice.
• Provide proactive support to the Practice Lead, ensuring seamless project delivery and communication.
About You
• Previous experience in executive search, ideally within the HR or related professional services sector.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce polished documents for senior audiences.
• Strong relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
• Ambition, drive and a proactive approach to learning and business development.
• Ability to work closely with a Practice Lead, acting as a trusted partner and “safe pair of hands.”
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with frequent communication and teamwork.
If you’re ready to take the next step in your executive search career and want to join a team that values your growth and individuality, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today and let’s build something great together!
