What you will be working on:

Perform cabling, installing, powering up, and troubleshooting electronic security systems, including Access Control, CCTV, Intercom, and Intrusion Systems, bring CCTV systems online.
Assist in project planning and scheduling, manage interaction with clients.
Train, motivate, supervise installation technicians.
Ensure quality control of installation works completed on time
Communicate with Technical Project Lead (project updates, daily reports)
Who are we looking for:

4 + years of progressive experience performing cabling, installing, powering up, and troubleshooting of security systems in commercial, condo projects, commercial offices, and the hospitality sector (construction to finished sites)
A good understanding of IT, networks, and computers is considered an asset.
Ability to jack, terminate, dress, test, and troubleshoot all related wiring for Access Control, Alarm, CCTV, and intercom on both sides.
Thorough understanding of and ability to communicate blueprints, drawings, work orders, and diagrams and knowledge of building codes for cabling and wiring.
Demonstrate strong work ethic, leadership skills, ability to train, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to balance a physically demanding workload (standing, lifting, climbing, bending, crawling in confined spaces) and work in all weather conditions.
Experience with ICT Protégé, C-CURE (Software House), SALTO, Kantech, Avigilon, DSC, Honeywell, Hikvision, Genetec, Exacqvision, Aiphone, TOA preferred.
Possess a valid Ontario Driver’s License (G level)

· Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.

· Must be able to walk, climb, stand, lift, and bend repeatedly.

· Will be required to stand for long periods of time.

· Must be comfortable working at heights.

· Travel to various customer sites across the GTA (industrial, commercial, construction sites, etc.), coming to the office/warehouse when necessary.

· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
