Repair/Field Support Technician
We are seeking a skilled Repair/Field Support Technician for a contract-to-possible-hire position.
Job Summary:
This role involves troubleshooting, calibrating, and repairing instruments and systems returned to the factory for service and/or repair. In a repair center setting, you will analyze, troubleshoot, make repairs, resolve technical problems, and perform maintenance services on equipment or components returned by the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair instruments and systems returned to the factory for service and/or repair.
Analyze and resolve technical problems in a repair center setting.
Perform maintenance services on equipment or components returned by the customer.
Convey data and trends on product repairs to appropriate personnel or departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Escalate unusual product issues to technical support or other relevant departments.
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Science or Bachelor's degree with a focus on Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
Strong soldering skills.
Able to troubleshoot to component level on printed circuit assemblies.
Proficient with oscilloscopes and digital multimeters.
Computer programming experience (C or C+/C++) is a plus.
Work Environment:
