Ward Resource Nurse - Pressure Injury Prevention and Management Programme

As part of our efforts to prevent healthcare-associated infections and improve patient outcomes, Health New Zealand Wairarapa Hospital is delivering a pressure injury prevention and management programme.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide support, advice, and education on pressure injury prevention and management to staff, patients, and whanau
Assist in quality-based oversight and ensure robust assessment, management, and specialist wound care
Collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Specialist-Wound Care to implement the PIPM programme
Requirements:
At least two years post-graduate clinical experience
Confidence in working independently
A focus on quality improvement
This is a permanent part-time position operating alongside your current role, requiring 8 hours per fortnight (0.1 FTE). The successful candidate will report to the Director of Nursing and work closely with the Clinical Nurse Specialist-Wound Care team. Read more
