Job description
We are hiring a People Culture Coordinator for a 15 month term on behalf of our client, a construction company based in Vancouver. If you are looking for a company that has great growth potential and awesome team culture, this may be the role for you!

Responsibilities:
• Facilitate a unique and inclusive onboarding experience for every new hire, preparing and supporting onboarding activities by leveraging HRIS tools
• Assist in full cycle recruitment, including drafting of job descriptions, candidate selection and onboarding
• Help facilitate a smooth onboarding for each new employee while coordinating with internal teams as needed
• Prepare employment related documents including employment contracts, progressive discipline letters, termination documentation and investigation notes
• Maintain and improve the existing HRIS, (BambooHR), including ongoing data management, system customization, and monitoring functionality to ensure optimal performance
• Maintains optimal functions of BambooHR, which may include customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades to modules
• Coordinate and work alongside Office Administrator to create and host events for employee engagement and a positive culture

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration/Commerce, Human Resources (or related field) is an asset
• 1-5 years work experience in an HR/People Culture role is preferred
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with proven ability to juggle and reprioritize based on business requirements while meeting the demands of a high-volume workload
• Developing skillset in coaching peers, facilitation, and conflict resolution
• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
• Must be proficient in Canadian and provincial employment law and regulations
• Must have advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft office suite
• Interest and commitment to personal and professional development and keeping current with HR practices and trends

What We Can Offer You:
• Salary range: $65,000 - $80,000 (flexible based on experience)
• Comprehensive benefits package
• 2-3 weeks vacation
