Job description
A leading, independent communications consultancy is looking for a part-time HR Manager to join their team on a 12-month maternity cover, starting in October 2025.

This is a hands-on, generalist role focused on keeping the people function running smoothly across the full employee lifecycle - from recruitment and onboarding to HR queries, learning and development and employee relations. You'll be the first point of contact for all things HR, so you will need to be confident, approachable, organised and people-focused.

You'll work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, offering trusted advice and day-to-day support to managers and team members alike. It's a role that requires someone who builds trust quickly, communicates clearly, and is comfortable rolling their sleeves up in a fast-paced but friendly agency environment.

You'll need 3 - 5 years' generalist HR experience, ideally within a small to mid-sized business, and a solid understanding of UK employment law and best practice. You'll be proactive, solutions-focused, and able to juggle multiple priorities with calm and clarity.

This is a part-time role (3 or 4 days per week), but the team is open to spreading hours across 5 days if that works better for you. Hybrid working is offered, with two days per week expected in the office to maintain visibility and connection with the wider team.

If this sounds like the right role for you, please apply now!
