We’re now looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our team and support the execution of marketing initiatives that drive growth, engagement, and brand awareness.

About this role

The Marketing Specialist plays a key role in the implementation of Financial Spectrum’s marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this position contributes to the planning, coordination, and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, brand communications, content production, and digital performance tracking. The role also supports research, data analysis, and internal marketing processes to enhance consumer awareness and support business growth.

Salary: AUD 80,000 – AUD 100,000 per annum plus superannuation

Key Responsibilities

· Assist in planning, developing, and executing advertising campaigns across digital, print, and other media channels to support business development and sales objectives.

· Liaise with internal stakeholders and external contractors (designers, SEO specialists, media buyers) to coordinate the timely production and delivery of campaign materials.

· Ensure all campaigns align with brand guidelines, messaging consistency, and allocated budgets.

· Support the Marketing Director in researching potential market opportunities, customer segments, and competitor activities.

· Collect, analyse, and interpret statistical data to assess campaign effectiveness and market trends.

· Prepare insights to guide marketing strategy, product positioning, and promotional activities.

· Create, schedule, and publish digital marketing content for the company website, social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook), and email campaigns.

· Draft marketing materials such as blogs, articles, brochures, guides, case studies, and video scripts.

· Collaborate with SEO consultants to implement updates and enhancements aimed at improving search engine performance.

· Assist in maintaining and evolving the Financial Spectrum brand across internal and external communication assets.

· Ensure consistency in tone, visual identity, and content quality across all touchpoints.

· Help manage the CEO’s personal brand and professional presence on social platforms.

· Monitor campaign performance, website traffic, conversion rates, and social engagement using analytics tools .

· Prepare regular reports and dashboards for internal use, summarising trends and recommending improvements.

· Support the evaluation of ROI on advertising and promotional spend.

· Assist in planning, organising, and delivering the annual company conference and other internal or client-facing events.

· Coordinate logistics including venue, catering, collateral, and promotional materials.

· Support event branding and post-event marketing follow-up.

· Maintain marketing databases, content calendars, campaign trackers, and asset libraries.

· Support budgeting and invoice tracking for marketing suppliers.

· Assist with project management of ad hoc marketing and communications initiatives.

About You

· At least 1 year of experience in a marketing, communications, or digital content role

· A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Experience coordinating with external suppliers (e.g. designers, SEO agencies, web developers)

· A keen eye for detail, with excellent organisational and time management abilities

· A collaborative spirit – you’re a team player who is self-motivated and eager to learn
