Job Description
Join a global corporate insurance team advising insurers, reinsurers, intermediaries and MGAs on high‑value, cross‑border corporate and regulatory matters. The role sits within a market‑leading insurance platform and offers exposure to complex transactions, portfolio transfers and regulatory processes.
The post is a senior position within the London Corporate Insurance group, responsible for leading sophisticated M&A, joint ventures and restructurings, advising on portfolio transfers (including Part VII processes) and providing strategic regulatory guidance across UK/EU regimes.
The role includes senior client relationship management, mentoring and developing junior lawyers, and contributing to business development and thought leadership across the practice.
• Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with 7+ years’ PQE in corporate or corporate insurance work.
• Proven experience advising insurers, reinsurers, brokers, MGAs or other regulated financial services clients.
• Track record of leading complex insurance M&A, portfolio transfers and cross‑border transactions.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK/EU insurance regulation (PRA/FCA), excellent commercial judgement and client management skills.
• Experience supervising and developing junior lawyers and contributing to team leadership.
