Job Description

Support significant infrastructure initiatives as a dedicated Legal Counsel. Provide critical insights on contracts, risk management, and dispute resolution strategies tailored to the Canadian market. The candidate will focus on major projects relating to transit, rail, and public-private partnerships.

Proactive problem-solving skills coupled with excellent interpersonal communication are fundamental in this role. You will be responsible for delivering legal guidance throughout contract negotiations and managing complex disputes effectively. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in legal interpretations of complex contractual documents
• Negotiate and manage disputes related to infrastructure projects
• Advise on insurance coverage and risk mitigation
• Collaborate with teams on contract delivery processes
• Drive education efforts to minimize disputes among stakeholders Requirements:
• 5 to 10 years of experience in legal practice
• Must be licensed to practice in Ontario or other provinces
• Extensive experience in construction law and litigation
• Knowledge of project insurance and claims resolution
• Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement Leverage your expertise in legal counsel to ensure successful execution of major infrastructure projects while mitigating potential legal risks.
