Job Description
We are growing again! We are looking for 2 more lawyers to add to our team!!
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in refugee claims and immigration proceedings
- Prepare legal documents, such as appeal records, factums, and briefs
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations and issues
- Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to develop case strategies
- Attend court hearings, and other legal proceedings on behalf of clients
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong research skills and ability to interpret complex legal documents
- Professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct
This position requires a law degree from an accredited law school and a valid license to practice law in Ontario. Prior experience in immigration and refugee law is preferred. LAO empanelment is an asset and highly desirable. The successful candidate must have a thorough understanding of the legal system, excellent advocacy skills, and the ability to build strong client relationships.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
Licence/Certification:
• License to Practice Law in Ontario (required)
