About the role:

As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting both the classroom teacher and students to succeed. Working with small groups and one-on-one, you will help deliver targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy, ensuring that students are supported in their learning. You’ll also assist children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), providing tailored support to help them overcome challenges and reach their goals. • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working in an educational setting (preferred).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in KS2 with interventions and booster sessions, focusing on literacy and numeracy.

• Assist children with Special Educational Needs, offering personalised support and encouragement.

• Work alongside the classroom teacher to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences.

• Provide feedback on student progress and contribute to planning targeted learning strategies.

• Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that helps students build confidence and academic skills.
