Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. This role is crucial in supporting various HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of our human resources department including payroll. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of HR management and payroll practices.
Responsibilities
Communicate effectively with employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
Help manage the Payroll process
Assist with HR duties such as I-9 verification, onboarding and off-boarding, drafting and sending contracts, timesheets and invoices, and I-9 verification.
Oversee benefits administration to ensure compliance and employee satisfaction.
Support program management for various HR initiatives including training and development programs.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity within HR systems.
Qualifications
Proven experience in human resources administration or a similar role.
Be able to manage and process semi-monthly payroll
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in HR software such as UKG is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail
