Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented HR professional to join our HR Operations

team. This role will focus on end-to-end HR generalist activities, compensation benefits administration, HR operations, and compliance management for employees across India and the

US. You will work closely with HR leadership, finance, and business teams to streamline employee

lifecycle processes, ensure legal and policy compliance, and optimize pay and benefits structures

for diverse workforce categories (full-time, consultants, freelancers).

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage employee lifecycle operations: onboarding, background verification, documentation,

offboarding, and exit formalities
• Administer compensation, payroll inputs, pay revisions, and benefits (insurance, leaves,

reimbursements, statutory benefits) for both India and US employees
• Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with applicable statutory laws (PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Shops and Establishment Acts, WFH guidelines) for India; and labor compliance regulations for US-

based employees
• Maintain accurate and updated HRIS and employee records, including contract workers and freelancers
• Handle employment agreements, consultancy contracts, and independent contractor documentation (India and US)
• Partner with Finance to reconcile payroll data, bonuses, variable payouts, and final settlements
• Coordinate and support insurance policies, benefits programs, gratuity management, and compliance filings
• Develop and manage HR compliance audits, statutory reporting, and data management practices
• Generate periodic HR dashboards, attrition reports, headcount tracking, and salary cost analytics
• Assist with policy reviews, handbook updates, and audits for labor law compliance (India and US)
• Act as a key contact for employee queries on HR processes, pay, and benefits
• Support HR projects around digital transformation, AI tools for HR operations, and employee self-service models

Key Skills Competencies:
• 2–6 years of experience in HR Operations / HR Generalist roles with exposure to Compensation

Benefits management
• Strong understanding of India labor laws, statutory compliance, and payroll administration
• Familiarity with US basic employment practices, contractor management, and freelance

workforce norms (preferred)
• Proficiency in HRIS systems, Zoho People, HRMS tools, and Excel-based reporting
• Excellent communication, documentation, and process management skills
• High attention to detail, data integrity, and timeline management
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a fast-paced hybrid work environment
• Exposure to internal audits, HR compliance checks, and process improvement initiatives is a plus

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Certifications in Payroll Management, Compliance, or HR Operations would be an advantage
