We are on the lookout for a seasoned ECE Leader to join a well established provider located centrally in Palmerston North. This role would best suit someone with proven leadership skills, well versed with curriculum, is able to support and mentor a team of Kaiako, foster a positive culture and is confident with compliance requirements.

This is a permanent full time position leading a classroom of 50 tamariki in a large over 100 licence centre. You will get to enjoy working alongside a collaborative and tight knit team, a centre with great community connections and tailored professional development to support with your career aspirations.

What would we like to see from you?

Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education (ECE). Open to considering a primary endorsed with experience working with children aged 0 - 6 years.
Current New Zealand Teachers Registration.
A genuine warmth, care, and passion for children.
Strong background in curriculum development
Team-player who is collaborative and reflects upon best practice.
The ability to foster a positive team culture and environment
Sound knowledge and understanding of Te Whāriki.
